Minnie The Moocher (1932) ****

Betty runs away from home and finds herself in a dark cave with Bimbo. They are soon joined by ghosts and skeletons, all singing the Cab Calloway title tune. A precursor of sorts to Betty's masterpiece, "Snow White" (1933), it's a first-rate musical cartoon, with inventive imagery and interesting ideas.
