The Band Concert (1935) *****

Mickey's orchestra is constantly interrupted by ice-cream vendor Donald, who insists on playing "Turkey In The Straw" during a performance of "William Tell". The conflict is not resolved until a big hurricane arrives, wrecking havoc among the musicians, who continue their performance while hanging from trees. Often considered as Disney's finest short, the film has outstanding animation (especially Mickey Mouse) and a very clever use of music.
