Viva Willie (1934) **

Willie claims to have once been a cowboy who fought with bandits in a saloon and rescued a damsel-in-distress. Produced and directed by Ub Iwerks, "Viva Willie" closely resembles some Disney's Mickey Mouse cartoons from the late 20's and early 30's (known as the "kidnapping" series): "Gallopin' Gaucho" (1928), "The Cactus Kid" (1930) and "The Klondike Kid" (1932).
