Boogie Doodle (1941) ***

Images drawn directly on the negative. Norman McLaren's first important film. Though released by the National Film Board of Canada in 1941, it was actually made in New York City in 1940, just before McLaren was invited by John Grierson to Canada to found the NFB's animation unit.
