No Barking (1954) ****

A cat tries to swallow a bird, but two other birds drop a brick on his head. He searches for food, but always bumps into a cute puppy dog, whose sudden barking spasms send him flying skyward. Extremely well constructed gags, expertly timed, with solid build-ups and unexpected twists. Tweety makes a brief cameo appearance in this superb cartoon.
